Gongs

Gongs have a long tradition within the whole of Asia. The Chinese dance of the dragon wouldn't be complete without the introductory tones of the gong.
This instrument can be used at the beginning or end of a ceremony, in harmony with other instruments or simply to emphasize a single moment.
The gongs are made out of brass using traditional methods to form and tune them, ranging in size from the small table gong ( 17 cm diameter) to those barely carryable, and covering all tone levels.
